The Programme is designed to meet the learning, social and emotional needs of all the children in the community of Olievenhoutbosch.
The following Departments conducts visits to educate,raise awareness, offer support and guidance:
1. Provincial Department of Health
2. City of Tshwane(Community Development and Social ServicesDepartment, Social Workers and Municipal Health Services and Environmental Health Practitioners)


Olievenhoutbosch Disabled Organization caters for the needs of people with disabilitie, it is divided into the Early Childhood Development section, the Woman Empowerment, Gardening and Aftercare Services.
The Center operates from 06:00 AM to 17:45 PM, from Mon-Fri and the Children's Age range from 2-6(ABLE) and 2-14(Special Needs)
Parents engage with their children in creative activities that include music, singing, exercise, story time, weekly themes and socializing.
The parent programme further empowers parents with new skills on how to continue the exercises and activities with their children when they are at home on weekends and on Holidays
Each class has a qualified teacher and assistant teachers are doing short courses to empower themselves with knowledge and skills to care for children with special needs
Classes begin in January and end in December, yearly. The programs offers a rich,supportive learning environment where children can explore, discover, talk freely, build, create and grow intellectually, emotionally and Socially:
1. Offers children an opportunity to play, explore, and engage in multi-faceted activities
2.Introduces activities such as religion, art, music, dramatic play, blocks,cooking, cultural activities and more
ECD Centers in the community have access to the Toy Library and the Play Area twice a week.
They also borrow or book-out Educational toys according to their age groups on a weekly basis.
